Yes, you can as long as they are dotted.

kenshin_himura SG

but if there are red lines bseside it? not allowed to enter at all times right?

Pitot SG

The red line runs parrallel to the normal yellow bus lane lines. When there is dotted it means the same for the red lanes.

It just means full day bus lane.

Relax, dotted red lines alogside dotted yellow line means any vehicle can go into the lane. If not how to excecute a left turn? Don't tell me you travel for donkey kilometres until there is no more bus lane then turn left and then travel all the way back to your destination meh?

Don't worry. Although it is a well-known fact that the Traffic Police and LTA in general know F**k S**t about driving in real life, they still have a bit of common sense left in them.

thanks! but on that day, the lane amrkings i saw were dotted yellow and continuous red. so what does it mean that i can filter in to turn left?

kenshin_himura SG

problem is i didn't filter in but i turn infront of the bus...lol didn;t know where to go as it was before 8pm, didn;t dare to filter in and wait behind the bus due to its camera.... so i turn while in the lane next to the bus lane.... sigh

bizzkit0102 SG

That was quite a dangerous thing to do. Nothing happened after that, i suppose...?

Anyway, was there a fella in white standing on the pavement with a camera during the time when you were at that place?

BangHong SG

For me, i will never over take a bus, they are fitted with camera now, and i dont really remember the timing slot for bus lanes... lol -.-

I dont think will so heng, got fella in white camp there ba? haha...

kenshi_himura, you can brake, and let the bus overtake, signal first... the car behind will dulan, and may horn you, but who cares ? He also dont dare bang you, the most point middle finger at you, or he will change to right lane
