Item Details/Condition:
Need a lightweight walkaround lens for your Canon digital or
film EOS camera? This compact wonder is for you! Goes from wide
angle coverage at 28mm to a good focal length for portraits at
80mm. This model sports the fast and virtually silent Ultrasonic
(USM) autofocus motor. Focusing as close as 1.3 feet means you can
get in tight and fill the frame with your subject. 10 elements in
10 groups. Stops down to f/38 for great depth of field control. Of
course, this is an autofocus lens with manual override.
Lens is in very very good condition. Zoom ring is blemish-free
and the lens zooms smoothly throughout the whole range. No
scratches or fungus on the glass. Auto/manual focus switch works
properly. Zoom is smooth, focus is smooth.
EF mount is in perfect condition as are the gold electronic
contacts. Comes with front and rear caps. I have another Canon lens
that covers this zoom range, so this one has to go.
This lens will function on all Canon digital and film
cameras with EF lens mounts including the Rebel
bodies.
