the xbox 360 hdd is primarily used to install games to the
hdd such that you will be playing games straight from your hdd
instead of from the disk drive. the main benefits are that there
will be shorter loading times, you will not experience disk dirty
error and most importantly, the xbox 360 will run quieter and
cooler. this HDD is especially recommended to people who has a
older model of xbox 360 with a failing disk drive and is getting
the disk dirty error very often.
how this works:
1. you pass me your old hdd, i will use your original casing and
just change the HDD inside to a 250gb while
transfering your profiles and gamesaves to the new HDD. this will
cost 140
2. buy a brand new hdd with black casing for 160, if you want me to
transfer your stuff to the new HDD, you can either pass me your old
hdd and i help you do the transfer which will take around 3 days,
or if you want it want it quicker, you can borrow a memory card
from me and do the transfer yourself.
All drives comes with a 6 months warranty.
FAQ
Q. will i get banned using this?
A. no, the exploit was discovered in january 2007 and in the 3
years since then, nobody has been banned while using hdd of this
kind. even if MS decided to do something, they will most probably
just block access to the HDD and not ban the console, just like
what happen to the datel memory card incident. in the unlikely
event that MS blocks the hdd, i can help you convert it to a normal
usb external hdd so that at least you will still have some use with
it. ultimately it up to you to decide if its worth taking the
risk.
Q. can i have a discount?
A. i will be able to give a discount if we are dealing at a place
of my preference.
