NYC_MiCra SG AUTO SAVER has ECU reading equipment similar to TC, you can go there for servicing. Prices are reasonable, service is good. Pls contact the VANDALGAL for the Auto saver program. If you have so much extra cash to spare, you can sign up package with TC and stick with them. Copy Vandal, if can share the offers and program with Itimeout.
spikedoll SG I went to autosaver for my 20k servicing..is there engine bay wash service included in the package? I forgot liao
KingMariot SG Hi there is a shop located at Eunos industrial park that imports and fix the genuine body kits. They have a couple of range so you can actually tell them what you want and they will get it for you. Alternatively there is a shop at Paya Ubi industrial park that customise the kits to your car but i believe they are fiberglass. Other option for fiber glass is to go to JB and fix them and if you travel from causeway straight down the road to Carrefour, you will be able to spot the shop.
KingMariot SG Well Autosaver "specialises" with Nissan cars and many of the members here go to them for servicing. I've also heard of one other workshop which is based on the 2nd floor of Ang Mo Kio Industrial park (in fact there are many car workshops there as well ). Cannot remember the name of the shop but the fella also sells Hurricane filters. Check for you when i'm back. Anyway I am into my 70k servicing but has stuck to Tan Chong all these time. I am into my second the NPMP (Nissan Preventive Maintenance Program) which gives you 4 servicing per plan within a 2 years window (something like that) and i'm quite satisfied. In mind opinion if you drive frequent enough (covering at least 40k within 2 years), you might want to consider Tan Chong's NPMP as it will not be too much difference in cost when compared to outside servicing for 4 times. And afterall it gives me a peace of mind with regards to going back to Tan Chong for warranty claims. After 100k or 3 years maybe I will go for outside workshop for servicing as warranty would have lapse. But if you intend to do piece meal servicing with Tan Chong, then forget it as it is relatively expensive. Again there will be some other skools of thoughts here between servicing with Tan Chong and 3rd party workshops and some will point them out very eagerly.
itimeout SG Hi NYC_MiCra and King Thanks a lot for the advice....... will check out autosave and do some mathematics as suggested..... though dun understand y there are so many options in life..... as if life is not complicated enough!!! sigh....
KingMariot SG Hmm thats why your nick is I Time Out? I can pass you a maths "spreadsheet" to make your life easier.
NYC_MiCra SG Is safe to go to AUTO saver and the prices are reasonable. I am not getting any $$ out promoting them but they indeed provide good workmanship. i dun allow crappy Mechanics to touch my car. I never save on a few $ to Experiences problems in the future. I change and service my ride every 5k. Love you ride, and it will not fail you. "give cheap services to your ride, it will fail you". Just look for bobby at KKB and tell them you are from this club. You will be entitle to a good package. This was agreed with an offer letter from AUTO SAVER to give good services and discounts for this club.

But after months, I give up ! we should not recommend any more loh bang, just keep it to ourselves ! Do you know how I feel, I dun mind sharing .! I gotten 50 application letters draw up by AUTO saver(discounts)to be distributed to all of you if you have an interest. But ..????? I guess it never reach you guys and gals. Is just an option to join Auto saver, which mod-sters go. I believe, regardless of TC/ AUTO SAVER/ ABC service centre or "Tan Ah beng" shop... all the march owners should have a choice to choose. All service centers should also be giving tech talks..right ! You decide ! TO EACH ITS OWN .! is your ride. How you care for your ride shows how much returns you will get from you car. Anyway, Stamford tech talk you want to go ! hahaha TO EACH ITS OWN .!

vandagal2002 SG Singapore Nissan March cars not affected by recall due to faulty backup lights Wednesday June 14, 10:17 PM SINGAPORE: Nissan Motor in Singapore said its March model cars imported here are not affected by a Japanese recall which affects only manual transmission models. The March models imported into Singapore are all automatic cars. Some 11,000 March models manufactured between 2002 and 2004 are being recalled mostly from the Japan market due to backup lights which could not light up. Another model, Elgrand - a luxury van is also seeing some 144,000 recalls due to faulty disk brakes. But this model isn't sold in Singapore. Last year, some 400 Nissan March models were sold here. - CNA /dt -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday June 13, 9:34 PM Nissan to recall 144,000 Elgrand minivans, 11,000 March car (Kyodo) _ Nissan Motor Co. said Tuesday it will recall 144,000 units of the Elgrand minivan and 11,000 units of the March compact car to fix defects in the minivan's brakes and the car's taillights free of charge. In a report filed with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Nissan said the minivan in question was manufactured between April 2002 and December 2005 and the car between February 2002 and March 2004. If drivers apply the brakes of the minivan too often when driving downhill, a component of the brakes may develop cracks and break due to its poorly designed shape, Nissan said. The automaker received a total of eight claims between November 2004 and April this year from drivers of the minivan complaining that the brakes had started to produce a noise or failed to work properly, it said. Concerning the March car, Nissan said the vehicle's taillights may fail to light because of a defective point of contact in the lights' switching system. http://asia.news.yahoo.com/060613/kyodo/d8i7bu500.html http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2006/6/13/apworld/20060613214424&sec=apworld
