The March is on a traditional 4-speed auto transmission, not CVT
which has no gears but rather 2 pulleys with variable lengths. CVT
gives smoother (but slower) gear changes but is designed for slow
easy driving. Acceleration is slower than standard transmissions. I
much prefer the standard auto trans for better performance.
Get the March if you're looking for a fun city car with lots of
window area. It is a very easy car to drive and park, and so is
great for less confident drivers. It stands out for different
reasons than WRX with huge spoilers. However be prepared to get
bullied a lot on the road, i.e. other cars will always assume you
are slower, and so will overtake you aggressively, and won't give
you way.
