one new discovery for me: that our spare tank is 6L.

this means when the fuel warning lights up, we have about 13km x 6L = 78km more to go.

this morning i pumped full tank when the warning light came and took note of the total volume pumped, it registered 35L (almost).

since the specs say that our tank is 41L, this confirms my guess that our spare is 6L.

knowing this is important for me as i had a few encounters in malaysia when i drove with the warning light on for a long distance when it was like 4am in a deserted ulu area.

scared the sh*t outta me... Rolling Eyes

we had a 5 marchies convoy there two months back, its the Jusco shopping mall. indeed its very very very huge. nuttin really exciting except that it is damn huge.

going there is very easy. if you can get to pelangi shopping centre, just past it by and go straight all the way for about 20 mins. its on your left and you wont miss it. its HUGE remember?

whaz exciting for me is holiday plaza where the pirates are. Wink

KingMariot had the chance to inspect on one impul march with the chinup bar installed. installation is quite easy actually, and no, it wont fly off halfway, except the price...

how? want to do together? cheaper if we get by the dozen. Smile

i top up every time i am half tank in malaysia , the petrol stations r like miles apart !!!

Long story again !

Techron cleans the un-combusted petrol in your engine, maintains and give you better response. Vpower indeed gives you more horse power.... ! It depends on how you want to take care of your car and feed it with what goodies. I will use 98, techron and vpower it depends.

1. Min 98, no point going for 95. (If you can afford a 60k car, what is a few cents ) dun understand why pple use 95 or 92 to torture your ride. It is never a long term solution for your engine to use 92 or 95. lets see after 3-5 years how you engine condition will be.... !

2. 98 pump 20L ( abt 250 mileage + 18km more after amber light on. )
- For normal driving mon to fri pump 98. (80% highway)

3. Vpower 20L ( abt 268 Mileage + 25km more after amber light on. )
- For some hard action and running around on week Ends pump Vpower.

4. Techron 20L ( abt 260 Mileage + 25km more after amber light on. )
- Every 2 weeks once I pump Techcon to clean up the engine.

I am running on 16 inch rims 10 kg per wheel = 40kg more drag so my FC will be 11-13 km. Normally, every 3days pump once 98.

I will pump twice of 98 - 20L = 3rd / 6th day , Once Vpower - 20L = 9th day, Once Techron to clean up on the 12 day and after which I do the same again and again. Is just my guide, most or some of you will know how heavy my car is curb weight at stock is 975kg + 110kg more = 1085 kg for sure my FC will be abt

I have been sharing with pple but some believe it is troublesome and not a good idea to pump only 20L/half tank. (1L = 1kg ) you think of the drag you are going through and also the amount of petrol needed to spin off the car. I had never pull full tank, this is not Melb or New York city. Petrol stations are every where on this island in between < 10km there is one petrol station. Why worry and waste petrol and money pumping full 41L. ?? that me ! again to each it's own. Is a trade off ! I call it ....!

I get abt 13.7km/l on the NS highway with me revving to past 3000 rpm ... i use caltex 98 over there, dun dare to use petronas tho.... they dun even tell you what octane fuel they r using....
