The march k12 is using a cilo chassis.
It is much stiffer that a lot of other Japan k cars. With right handling settings coil overs, F Strut / b brace bars and rims/tyres, it will bring you more joy with your ride.

Notes:
Mineral Oils used in your new march
first 1000K by TC
2nd 5000k by TC
10,000k Mineral Oil by TC or options FSO

Progressive engine oil integration to fully sys oil.

Step 1: 1000k /use Mineral to run in.

Step 2: 5000k /Suggestions bring yr own to TC ( semi-sys oil )

Step 3: 10k recommend to use fully sys oil ( shell, caltex, mobil one and etc )
- light oil 0- 30w lesser protection for engine with more performance.
- thinker oil 5-40w more protection for engine but lesser performance

Please prob until you feel that your doubts are answered when you go back to the agent TC. Their service level must be tested by owners all the time or you will lose out under your warranty period.

All stereos are on the March are locally installed. They will have 1 year warranty, but within 3 years you should still go back to TC. Gray area...

oh i see.....cos my speaker have those "zenzz zenzz" sound when playing songs(like techno)..i also dun know how to explain...hope u all understand Wink .....so i can go back to Nissan for any problem with it?Where is the gray area?? but i also have one more prob,if i can go back nissan but my next 10kservice is not so soon den how?can still book appointment and go back? Anyone can advise me on installing leather seats for my Nissan March? How much for semi leather or fully Leather.

The sound is usually caused by busted speakers or something touching the speakers (e.g. plastic bag). My Nissan saleslady told me that all the speakers are factory fitted and in fact are the same speakers (which means the Cefiro and March have the same speakers) - don't know how true. TC only fit the Headunit. You can still try to get them replaced by TC under warranty, but I would remove your heavy techno CDs in case they say you play your music too loud.

Warranty matters can be claimed at anytime. You don't need to wait until your next service.

Jackspeed is the in-house vendor for TC. Mazda uses Tomo. I brought my Vios to get kitted up with full leather at Tomo - cost me $1200 (all seats plus seatback and door panels). There are others but I'm not familiar with them.

Just give them a call to get quotation.

den thru what means can i do the claiming?? i email and they call me den they sae maybe can wait till 10k service which now mine is only less than 6k den tell them the p[roblem..... but i think too late le.....so disturbing lehz.... they sae next servicing u bring down ur car den they will ask JVC technican to check....how????? You should go as soon as is convenient for YOU, not them.

Their answer is fairly standard among the dealerships. They are hoping the problem goes away with time or you get used to it and won't bring it up. Or it gets worse and you feel paiseh to bring it up later. Just make an appointment with them specifying that it's the audio problem so that they book their audio supplier guy. They might tell you it's normal wear and tear, but you'll have to stand firm that speakers busting up before 6000km is NOT normal.

The main question they might ask you is whether you want synthetic oil. Mineral oil is free (part of the free service) but synthetic must top $60 (I think). Synthetic oil is preferred as it does a better job of lubrication, and can even save petrol because your engine has less power loss due to friction. Also it lasts longer so your next service can be 20k. So it's worth it to take synthetic oil.

Even if they ask you to sign up to their service plan, it's really up to you whether you want. Personally I did the calculations and there is actually not much savings, but it locks you in so you can't go somewhere else like Autosaver or your nearby petrol station for servicing. I decided not to sign up so that I have the flexibility.

No need to service if 10k is not reached yet. Just tell them it's to repair speakers. If you have any other thing you want to get fixed (creaky noise, brakes lousy, aircon not cold, etc.) you can also tell them since you are going all the way there anyway.

Most people just get used to the scratches and small dents on their cars. Repair is essentially grinding off the scratch which isn't perfect. Shops usually replace rims in a set, unless you go to a rim specialist who may have an extra one lying around.

If you really cannot stand the scratch, try calling Poh Heng (Justin) 98368640 to check if they have your rim (tell him it's the stock ones). Shouldn't cost more than $50 as it's used and nobody wants these 15" rims (people want big sports rims).

IMO, just get used to it. Save your money for petrol which is getting more expensive every other day!

I overestimated myself and scratched my March.

The scratch mark is about 5 inches long, about 2 inches of it is in the bumper, the rest on the car body.

How much to fix this and reccomendations?
