haha there was once my friend ate that the Duck Rice stall opp.
Bugis's OG, 1 plate duck noodle, $3. The duck meat was pathetic the
very first time he ate there. So the 2nd time he went there again,
thinking $3 portion is pathetic, he told the guy to "add duck
meat". Turn out the plate of duck noodles were not of much
difference from the $3 portion. WORST, It was $6!!! Like that
addition few pieces (4,5?) of duck meat cost $3?!
I was telling him, I rather he order to separate $3 portions
would be much more than the $6 "add duck meat" portion..
Some uncles or aunties think we LOOK like kids, try to scrooge
and be stingy about the portions and price.
well, duck is more expensive than Chicken. so it is not an apple
to apple comparison.
you can try the one at bishan st 11, Kim San Leng's coffeeshop
just beside bus interchange, it is still priced @ 2.5, but the
quantity has not diminished.
And naturally, there is a long queue for it.
