this generation of kids no luck to see Pez

iwishiwilliwould SG

oh i see. there seem to be little people collecting it.

tituskhoo SG

Hi guys

I do, and I have about 500 now. Indeed, not many are interested to collect in Singapore. To begin with, it's not easy to find them - sometimes only a handful at supermarkets etc.

iwishiwilliwould SG

oh hi tituskhoo! finally i find a fellow pez head here Very Happy

Deino SG

wot? it thought i saw em at Giant the other day?

Jfund SG

why do people collect pez anyway? =x seriously.

Deino SG

why do people collect pez anyway? =x seriously.

ya lo...

i go for the candy...damn addictive

iwishiwilliwould SG

singapore has a limited supply of it. never thought of the candy as addictive, just distribute them to kids.

its just like how some people like to collect stamps, or comics or figurines.

tituskhoo SG

Yes indeed. And not all versions are released in Singapore, especially things like box sets and new additions to particular sets.

I suppose the draw for me is that i get to see so many different types of characters featured as the heads - which other product has such a diversity of characters?

I have very little interest in the sweets - I usually give them away too, or simply order 'loose' PEZ online without the sweets.

maskedangel SG

so is the PEZhead the selling point, or the sweet?

iwishiwilliwould SG

obviously the dispenser itself. i think the sweets not fantastic.

caleb_chiang SG

I didn't know that was called pez...

iwishiwilliwould SG

haha, now you do.
bet you had one when you were young, just dont remember.

wonderamazement SG

i only got 2... a Mr Bean and a Homer...
