it's not factory made. Handmade except blade cos I kept the carbon blade for my other katana and replaced the blade. Hence the price. If you really want the carbon blade you can chip in another 400. PM me your email and I'll send you the pics.

nvm, was the carbon blade hand forged and folded? where is the viewing?

edit: btw would like to know where you bought this katana and how much? is it a functional sword (with the carbon blade) or a show piece?

Yes it's functional. Bought in Japan. Kyoto. Original price would put it at 1.2k. Yer I took the blade out that's why i'm selling it at 400. Sorry someone PMed me first and arranged a meeting later tonight. Will update you if its not sold. Thanks for your interest.
