Shouldn't it be a scheduled servicing where the dealer will
inform you about it?
What car are you driving? Usually Japanese and Korean cars have
1k servicing, but continental cars do not have that.
But even though they recommend 1k servicing to change engine
oil, I think it's redundant. Engines are efficient now, I doubt
it's needed. But of course, better to be safe than
sorry.
