Yes, it helps to get rid of body heat. I was ever warned that this is too cooling. My body was heaty for about a week, two days ago I drank it. Since then no heat in the body.

this is not to be mixed up with 人参 or 高丽参 which is for 补元气

蛇草水 is good but it taste like crap. It helps you burp out the Re4 qi4.

The one with the weird salty taste to me is the 蛇草水

But my hubby helped me overcome my dislike for it too by adding in raspberry vinegar :P or cordials :P
