That is only a pretext you give for lowering your price and at the same time giving others a false sense of $1k being the 'right' price. People thinking that somebody actually bought the notebook for $1100 would be tempted when they see the same laptop sold at $100 less. But i guess you did not sell that notebook at all. It is just my personal guess. Thanks
