Budget 500-650... a mountain/road bike with suspension, gear et al...for leisure only..thinking to start triathlon If good, those "branded" ones like GT or Specialized ah..Cannondale or trek..confirm nobody wanna sell below 1k thanks ah...pm me if got lobang for good bike shops or selling ur used bicycles.. the seat must be comfortable to me...1.85m frame..big butt
darknessfall SG go to bicycle shops that sells shoes and tri bikes…get from them refurnished bikes…its much cheaper
Master -_- SG wats tri bikes? triathlon bikes? you know where such shops are? i went to a bike shop at east coast/siglap..he quote me 1.3k for a 2nd hand Cannondale bike then i told uncle, i leisurely ride bike nia..go riding at east coast..then he recommend this trek bike..1st hand..3k then i fed up..i ask him got any cheaper ones...he showed me another cannondale..2.2k... excellent service i must add
Theatre Of Dreams SG 500-650 can get you a decent entry-level mtb. Few months back I got a bike at around this range so I roughly have an idea of the possible options. My eventual purchase was a Diamondback Response Sport 07 (pluto silver). The new 08 is out on the website but I don't think it's as nice. There's also the lower-end Response (w/o Sport). Other options: GT (Avalanche series) Orbea (the mtbs have quite a wide price range) Jamis Wheeler (Pro 29 / Pro 39) Merida Scott (Reflex / Sub / Sportster series) Commonly recommended bike shops are Hup Leong, Chapter 2 Cycle. If you stay in the west I can recommend you more shops which suit your budget.
