For this budget, i think a room in a condo would be enough

1 room 1 hall , budget $600 max, HDB flat

Hi,

I have up to 2 rooms for rental in the Holland Rd area, near to Holland Village. The apartment is a 3bedroom apartment and i am occupying the last unit. The unit is a private walkup apartment, part of a 3-story apartment building. Area is very quiet and has free parking in the open. The apartment is furnished with basic items like washing machine, stove, fridge but otherwise the living room is largely empty and free for use.

Both rooms come with aircon and some basic furniture but there are some difference in pricing for the rooms as follows:

Room 1 - Shared bathroom. Bigger with more windows and a balcony. $600 before utilities.

Room 1 - Own bathroom but bathroom is smaller. Room is also smaller. $500 before utilities.

Utilities usually comes up to about $60 a mth.

oh yes although per the lease agreement with the landlord officially no pets are allowed, my current housemate has a cat and another previous housemate had a dog and the landlord never complained. So pets should be no issue.
