frankly speaking i am just a layman.so no comment on all those technical terms above.but to me as i am driving a altis and honestly i don’t find its so powerful as wat some of you had mention.to me i only think its suppose to be a economic saloon.but if we talking about a twin cam(so call DOHC) toyota,with the present power i would say its not a powerful car.its the feel cos i can feel my altis is very light in weight.i think the mitsubishi has a slightly heavier body weight and furthermore its just a SOHC.so wat if the lancer was a DOHC?then i think my car(altis)really no fight.but i heard there are lancer in singapore that is DOHC.but rare in singapore.

i drive an altis. i dun understand why pple care so much about power or speed when the roads in singapore are so congested. Even if road is not congested, I will drive at 100-110km/h on expressway and that's already above the speed limit...

I drive my dads altis. From my own pt of view, whether the car is fast or not.. is if u dare to zham the accelerator.

Altis is quite powerful for a normal saloon if u know how to make FULL use of it plus courage.

It's juz like 2 charboh.. one 24-34-36 vs 26-36-38 then saying ownself more perfect figure n chio, comparing in front of a 34-24-34 gal. Making a fool starts wif oneself.

Choosing car wif better mileage n performance for driving is ok.. not for racing brand vs brand which faster.. leave tat to the proper sports cars and in proper environment....
