Branded 8GB Thumbdrive (Not HDD)

Selling a 8GB Pocket-sized Hard Disk! More information here.

NOTE: I made a mistake, it's actually a Pocket-sized Hard Disk, not a Thumbdrive.

The current 5GB model is priced at US$199 which is almost equivalent to about SGD$340. When it was first launched, it was priced around US$259/SGD$440++.

Right now, the latest model has a capacity of 8GB(not yet released). The appearance is exactly the same as the 5GB except it's colour which is in blue colour.

Given that the 5GB model costs $340, how much do you think the 8GB version would cost? Maybe around $500?

Please PM me with your offer if you're interested.

No point leh, i got a 40GB portable drive, not as small as thumb drive, but it’s about palm size, and it only costs me $200. I don’t know if it’s worth it to trade a smaller size drive that gives 1/5 the capacity at a higher price..

Complete nono for me. I would rather get a palm sized 2.5" portable HDD, also small right? also quite light mah....what for go get a flash drive 8Gb, nowadays ppt, slides, documents, pdf, odb, pics, avis, mp3s, etc all very big one leh...how much can 8gb last me?

aRcTiC_sTaR SG

It's not Sony =)

Seriously, my advice would be that most people wont mind the flash drive getting abit bigger IF they can store 10-20GB max. Very Happy

If they cannot reach this data capacity size, in the future, i believe their use could be wiped out or rather incorporated to other technologies, with data storage taken over by double density/sided 1.25" HDDs or optical HDDs.

Sony, Edge, Hitachi, Jetflash all releasing their 8GB thumbdrive soon. Very Happy

Someone once said, Nobody will ever need more than 640 kB of RAM. We laugh at that today, but it sounded logical at the time....

And Ohh...8gb SANDISK thumbdrive is only US$250 on ebay.

aRcTiC_sTaR SG

USD250 is about $400. Rolling Eyes
