dinner on friday

soul_rage SG

am thinking of taking my wife out for a romantic dinner this friday

there are several restaurants listed in UOB and HSBC 1-for-1 meals. Can I ask for comments as to which restaurants are recommended by forum-lites here?

1) Hog's Breath Cafe, Holland Village
2) 7th Storey Restaurant
3) Peach Garden
4) FIN Seafood Cafe
5) The Cathay Restaurant

Hog's breath good for prime ribs. The peach garden 1 for 1 set menu sucks and its $78+++.

Where is this?
I hope it's not anything like the 7th Storey Hotel Laughing

soul_rage SG

ya its at 7th Storey Hotel.

Not much is known about this restaurant.

choco B SG

Confused The only restaurant in that hotel is the al fresco steamboat one . Hardly romantic. Better strike it off your list Laughing

soul_rage SG

haha ok, seems like the above, not one is good Smile

hogs breath at chimes is not really romantic oso.. is more like a casual dining.. but is recommended for its steak.. but i dont really like it.. perhaps that nite is not my nite?
