ORIGAMIST SG Went Jack's Place for lunch with my family yesterday. While serving drinks, the waitress spilled the whole glass of water on me. We changed table and waited for our steaks. All came except for mine. I asked if they had forgotten and they say I didn't order. I reminded them that I order "T" bone and they came back to tell me they run out of T and I asked for Rideye. They quickly take my order again. When my steak came I realised the inside of my baked potatoes was almost all black. I asked if it was meant to be like that and they say that's was the potatoes' eyes !!! Nevertheless, they change one for me ! Is someone up there trying my patience ?? Anyway, anyone got similar experience ???
Ah Cek SG ...not in jack place but zi char stall they took my order but pple come after me all got theirs b4 me. when i ask again, they say coming coming... i DL and ask them "da yue zai dong ji ar?"

ORIGAMIST SG AMK... it was a test of patience ... my wife say she was waiting for me to lose my temper ... well? I didn't. And that surprised her !! ( after so many years of marriage, she still don't know when I will explode sigh ... )
ORIGAMIST SG While, the first time they spilled water onto me, she say she " entertain " me by giving free drinks. I said no need but she insisted. But then when the food did not come and when it came with the black potatoes, they didn't offer. The thought of complaining did cross my mind but then, no, I don't want to spoil my day.
crabx SG u guy or girl? spill on which part of ur clothes? maybe u should have stripped off ur shirt or pants n give the waitress, ask her to dry it in the oven or hand dryer in toilet

ditzy SG First time I went to parkway parade one. The reception/cashier more interested in counting money. But the waiters were good, took care of us, impressed, so I let it go. 2nd time I went bras basah one. All good, all pass. Just the table in front of us had noisy patrons. 3rd time went AMK one, ok lah, not as good as bras basah but ok lar. One of the orders came abit wrong, but I didn't pursue it coz it wasn't critical, I reckon it was the fault on the kitchen side, coz it was really crowded that evening.
crabx SG last time i ate oyster fritters n it tasted like shit coz the oyster inside was cold, n this caused the flour around it to be rather uncooked…flour taste… poooi
ORIGAMIST SG We went to Bras Basah one, years ago. My wife complained that the taste is different. We prefer the AMK one although each time we went there, I don't think we got the kind of service we expect ( not to worry, I don't expect very high standard ) but at least expect some decent one. You don't even get it. One time,( peak hour ), the waiter bring out the food and shout ( like in hawker centre )," medium, medium - whose ?". He was carry three plates at that time and the table was with about 8 dinners.. It give you a feeling a hawker centre service except you pay more !!
