Review on Changi Village Hotel buffet we had on 23 Mar
2007.
Cost was $38+++/head.
Types of food they had:
Salads
Soups (1 chinese soup, 1 western)
Salmon (smoked)
Warm food (roasted chicken, cheese baked mussels, steamed fish
fillets, etc)
Satay
BBQ (Prawns, Fish, Chicken, Steak, Lamb, Mussels)
Dessert (cakes, ice cream, stir-fry fruits with alcohol
Verdict:
BBQ Prawns was nice coz the prawn was huge. Lamb is nice. Chicken,
Fish, Steak normal)
Satay is nice (beef, mutton, chicken) and the sauce is nice coz of
the pineapple which was grinded really fine
Warm food ok, but not good
Dessert ok
Food Rating would be about 6.5/10, coz I expected more from the
cost
Service Rating would be about 8/10, the staff are attentive, and
they gave free parking upon request
Ambience would be about 8/10. Nice, cosy, quiet ambience, with a
rustic feel.
