if you r into something, u will defend your rights to be into do
or own that something. that's human nature.
if own any pirated software, games or illegal MP3, u will
definitely defend your rights to have it, taking risk though you
know the consequences.
as for the so-called 'fire arms' - if we are matured enough, i
think we can handle it, and its not even real for goodness
sake.
hope someday airsoft will be legalize in SG and perhaps, some kind
of licensing for each one you own. just like (not sure if its still
valid) owning a replica samurai knife or something - need register
or something of sort.
that will show that we are a mature society and we able to handle
stuff like this, such as casino etc. self-control is the key.

1 last note: do know how many died or seriously injured after a
drinking session? almost everyday... some just go unreported..
