SBS1965K - Caught fire along CTE on 9/7/13. Awaiting dereg?
SBS8900B - Involved in an accident inside BBDEP in 2011
SBS9104B - Involved in an accident with a kub at Jurong East in 2010
SBS9400X - Involved in a crane accident along Bedok North Road on 16/6/10

SMRT:

TIB566S - Caught fire along BKE on 17/4/11
TIB638T - Crashed with another habit on 10/1/12
TIB605M - Flipped over along Dairy Farm Road on 24/7/13. Awaiting dereg?
TIB1074M - Caught fire at Circuit Road on 15/5/11

SBS603L and SBS831U were de-registered upon their end of statutory lifespan despite being laid up due to mishaps.

SBS9104B's accident is on 9th May 2010, laid up and eventually de-registered on 24th September 2010.

Somemore to add:

SBS867S - laid up due to a collision with coach at Compassvale Drive on 6th December 2011 and de-registered on 2nd May 2012; one month before its end of 19 years' lifespan.

By the way, the title never indicates that only buses with accidents can be listed among those de-registered before the end of lifespans, I suppose there should be more.

Basically all the lance fleets from SMRT were laid up and deregistered even before reaching 15 years.

Maybe SMRT buses are not like SBST buses, Their lifespan is shorter? That why Mercs got extra so that SMRT can find buses to replace
