snobbish SG I hate food at foodcourts(except Food Republic). Their foods usually tastes horrible and no standard. In my opinion, hawker food taste best at run down, older markets Esp chicken rice and carrot cake, the simpler the shop the better. Food in a foam box juz taste not so yummy. Heres wat i discovered:a place where some foods cost less than $2! Mee Rubus$1.50 up Carrot Cake $ 1.20 up Fried Kway Teow $ 1.50 up The carrot cake was super delicious leh. The eggs very special cos not fry til too chao ta, abit soft, alot cai poh Bedok North Street 3 Old Market I think close quite early
