Service 81:

ADDs were continued to be deployed by BNDEP even though route cutback to Serangoon after NEL rationalisation.

Service 82:

ADDs continued to be deployed after NEL opened. After cutback to Serangoon, the whole fleet changed. As Serangoon routes was under AMDEP in the past, 82 went under AMDEP with Merc 0405s and Scania N113CRBs (OAC/CAC). Went back HGDEP once again in Sept 2004 when Serangoon came under HGDEP, fleet changed to Volvo MK2s.

Service 103:

Used to have LAs in the past before Tibs takeover in 1995. However after returned to SBS in 1999, DDs never appear on 103 again but with full Merc 0405 fleets.

And 136 had LO2X into the early 2000s.

Soon after 136 lost the LO2X, in the NE region, it was 165 next that lost the 0305s and the VO2X, while 74 held on to its 0305s till they were scrapped.

103 used to have LA till Tibs hto.

I dun think e VO3x on 82 disappeared immedately aft NEL commencement, 82 in fact had pretty good freq until it was rationalised.

Wow! 103 did use double-decks before.

So, it is Volvo Olympian 3-axle that plied on 82 before. Which batch serve service 82? How many did 82 use and what are the Volvo Olympian perms on 82 registered.

I think it's to replace either Mercedes-Benz O305s or Leyland Altanteans.

I remembered 154 as well.

74, 154 had lots of DDs back then. Come to think of it, most SBS svs tat could have DD, SBS tried to dispatch as many DD as far as possible

Anyway that 74 had VO2X is no biggie. Many services had the VO2X when it was still considered to be comfy to the masses. That even included 18 as someone pointed out earlier. I used to enjoy taking 18 and sitting on the upper deck looking at Bedok Reservoir.

w/ only 100 VO2x, it's a lot le. I remembered 132, 147 had it as well.

Ya, that was one of the more serious accident during the chain of accidents involving SBS buses in the 1990s. Then SBS was so concerned about this chain of accidents that they called engineers from Mercedes Benz, Volvo and Scania to have a thorough checks on all their buses and install more safety features as well to enhance the safety standards of these buses.

Yeah.

Unfortunately the VO2X did not last long on 18. And I dont think 18 had any DDs since.

Think it was soon after that, the MKIV Artic was introduced to SG, and on 18.

And that was the only perm service I believe, it served, before it was sold.
