To add on for LAs:
5602, 5604, 5618, 6897, 1642, 1661 were 157 perms around 1991-1992.
When 157 and 198 swapped buses I can only remember that 5602, 5604
and some 16XX buses were redeployed to 198 in return for the
LO2x.
1638 (the one with the axe brand medicated oil ad), 1649, 1675,
1695 were 99 in the early to mid 1990s'.
6888 and 1657 were 198 in around 1996 before being replaced by VO2x
in the following year.
1637 was 361 in 1997
5613 was 291 in 1997-1998. Before that it was 93 if I am not
wrong.
If I am not wrong the rego represents which depot the bus belonged
to in the early stage. Like 16XX series belongs to the West side
(JRBP/BBDEP), 68XX/55XX/56XX series belongs to the Central/North
side (TPDEP/AMDEP) and 49XX belongs to the East side (BNDEP).
