81: In 2005, there were Volvo B10M Mark IVs and Volvo
Olympian 3-axle Barch 3 as well as Volvo Super Olympian serving it
as perm. More Mark IVs were brought in and Batch 3 were replaced by
Batch 2. In 2007, a Mark II and a Mark III was brought in,
with the Mark II replaced by another Mark III in late-2007. In
2009, the Mark III was taken out of 81 and replaced with Scania
K230UBs.
82: I remembered that Volvo Olympians 3-axle Barch 3, Volvo
Super Olympians and Dennis Tridents serve 82 before. After the NEL
rationalisation Phase 2, it has the Volvo B10BLE demonstrator as
perm, until Phase 3 where it was replaced with Mercedes-Benz O405
and Scania N113CRB, and in 2004 it was change with Volvo B10M Mark
II & Mark IV. After the Mark IIs were scrapped, it had more
Mark IVs and a Mark III as perm.
103: Other than Leyland Altanteans, I will tell the buses used
by 103 from 2005 onwards. There were Mark IIs and Mark IVs at
first. Soon, the Mark IVs were replaced, making 103 a full Mark II
fleet. In 2007, a Mark II was taken out and replaced by a Mark
III. More Mark IIs were replaced by Mark IIIs with the
de-registration of Mark IIs and thus, 103 had a full Mark III
fleet by 2008. The Mark IVs were brought back in 2010, and this is
the fleet of 103 from 2010 till present.
Service 82:
Went under AMDEP controlled during the phase 3 NEL
rationalisation, as Serangoon routes were still under AMDEP
that time. In Sept 2004, all Serangoon routes including service 82
went under HGDEP controlled.
Service 103:
After handed back to SBS in end 1999, was AMDEP controlled with
full fleet Merc 0405s (FAC). Continued to stick to the same
0405 fleet even though there were route changes due to NEL
rationalisation. Only in Sept 2004 when Serangoon routes came under
HGDEP, service 103 started getting Volvos in the
fleet (regardless of MK2, MK3 or MK4).
