ditzy SG There is this mini steamboat at the foodcourt section of parkway parade that serves an assortment of steamboat. I tried the drunken chicken last week at 16 bucks. Its herbal soup with chicken pieces. Wow the soup is sedap man. If you like it super hot, throw in the cut chili slices. Don't say I didn't warn you. The herbal taste will stay, but your throat will burn. Ask for the chicken rice, the rice is not bad, got taste, but not oily at all. Other than the drunken chicken, I never tried anything else, so I can't comment.
ditzy SG Basement one, I didn't realise there was Banquet upstairs. Anyway, regulars should know I don't condone Banquet.
M©+square SG I love the Pacific Clams Salad. But they became really expensive. I pretty much stop going there.
maincghel SG actually there's another 1 at roxy square basement, used to be the same one at parkway before renovation for treats. not sure if they are opened by the same family, but should be the same. i love the chilli and the chicken soup there! shiok!
Driftgirl SG Hi, Guess they have another outlet near opp Novena Square called 2nd Mini Steamboat . The chilli wif sesame was wonderful But over the years the standard has drop indeed in terms for their portioning. Really very stingy on their portion. It's an a la carte buffet steamboat . Paid like $7.00 for a plate of cuttlefish and get like 8 small strings of it . Disappointed compared when my friends first introduce years back . Reason I go back is still the chilli of course but $$$ ex . Usually go 2 pax spend almost $80 plus . In the end guess should go to Coca but guess they no longer serve buffet anymore if I am not wrong Try the PP steamboat was good with bigger portion but that was months back I last try . Shall arrange to go down and give my review
