Give this Northen Thai Tom Yam a try. Its not classic Tom Yam but a cross between Tom Yam and Tom Kha. Very shiok! I love the fried fish that goes with it. $3 per bowl in a coffee shop opposite Hing Hwa Methodist church. Open only till 4pm

Okie...the latest discovery of nice tom yum - at Bugis Food Village, cooked by Thais.

$3.50 worth of tom yum bee hoon gets one 2 fresh medium prawns, 2 pcs of squid, abalone mushrooms, etc. The soup is very fragrant and not too spicy. Will eat it again. Smile
