Press Release From CMNL (Date: 23rd February
2010):
John Ayrey Diecasts has contacted CMNL to raise awareness of
problems with some models of "ukbus 9001" (Scania OmniCity / East London)
which results in some flexing of the internal components during
transit.
CMNL wishes to apologise unreservedly to its valued dealers and
customers for any disappointment they may feel if they receive any
such model that falls short of the usual high standards of detail
and presentation. Retail customers and dealers should return any
such item in the normally accepted way.
Despite passing all factory testing prior to dispatch, including
passing the "Drop Test", this problem was not anticipated and we
can assure all current and future customers that our engineering
staff are working on creating a satisfactory modification that will
prevent such issue in future Scania OmniCity models from
"ukbus 9003" onwards.
Once again, we apologise for this unfortunate occurrence.

Its not just 9001 that have a quality problem. My E400H also
have some minor quality problems. If creative northcord still
doesnt wanna buck up, i would need to think twice before i buy
their models. they simply reminds me of Cars workshop. Charging
high prices for low quality products. BOOO !
