Ha ha ha ha... The same thought came to my mind as well - that
it does not relieve the 190 load... I thought the new service might
ply some stops on Orchard.
982E will take away Red / Green Line passengers, but only 60-65
pax can sit comfortably compared to 513E where 164 pax can sit and
travel the long distance.
frankly speaking, by taking away 100pax wont make any difference
to the MRT.. the trains are still as crowded cos alway got ppl cant
board at all.... no wonder they say can use 250 buses for 40 new
services. out of these 40 new services, most likely 20 of them use
only 2 buses...
