I am surprised that most of the people here condemned the
drivers without looking further into the issue.
The drivers were recruited by the bus company going over to
their place.
If there is issues with the pay and living condition, I agreed
that they should not strike but they may have feedback and got no
response.
That is why they have to resort such wrong move of going on
strike.
One thing that I have not heard so far is that any decision to
improve their living condition and increase their pay.
So, is the issue resolved with hard core tactics ?
Or they expect the drivers to behave like local to be dumb and
suffer.
i don;t mind locals strike. but not foreners. if they et same pay
as locals, then why hire them! we locals should take the job
instead. its not local mind this and that, its the salary scale
that they suppress, while spending money on their own pockets, buy
buses upgrade this and that, high mainetnace fees and also build
new facilities. but pay of local bus captains? insrease slowly or
stagnant?!
break law is break la, one less cheena from cheenaland one
degree of relief for the country. During GE we have
months to air our views voice our discontent - but still the people
vote for them?! or too many PR vote for them?
