Good stalls at Lavender Food Square

I just finish taking pics of 5 of the better stores recommended to me by my friends. They are the controversial wanton mee, Albert Street Prawn Mee, Beef Kway Teow, Ngoh Hiam, Popiah and Carrot Cake.

My pics and review posted here:

The beef kway teow is my favourite from there. Also the crayfish from the tze cha stall. The xiao long tang bao and guo tie is good. Not forgetting the western stall., bagus!

Shocked Shocked My frend told mi that there is a stall d owner attitude quite bad one there, can't remember is it d wanton mee or.... dun noe what mee stall.... He was quite fed up............. Shocked

The wanton mee seller quite attitude one la that auntie
Anyway, I didn't think the noodles are special lor and the ingredients really CMI. There are much nicer wanton noodle stalls around that area anyway.

Tried it once and I never went back.
It's not special enough for me to want to Q up for it again

The presentation of the food itself is enough to put me away...

Small portion of noodle, char siew
Small bowl of soup
Small wan ton
Messy gravy all over the plate

Everything just looks so messy.... Confused

I did post pics of the beef noodles. But since then I found an even better one at Golden Mile FC! Here the beef balls are outstanding and the gravy for the dry version is to die for!

Just around the Corner from Singapore Casket. If you drive in the direction away from the city towards Jalan Besar, there is a turning before Jalan Besar. Can find parking in the basement of Eminent Plaza

^tamago^ SG

there is this big billboard at Eminent Plaza at the junction of Lavender St and Jln Besar.

exit at CTE Moulmein Rd Exit or PIE Bendemeer Rd Exit.
