Rynax SG Hi guys thinking of probably upgrading ... have around 100k budget was wondering what car you guys would get.. currently considering MarkX or a second hand BMW 520.. MarkX becasue i love it.. but BMW cause its classier.. but BMW is secondhand though continental lol... I love the ALfa but can't afford it.. any suggestions ? Preferably not 2nd hand.
AE86tofu SG 2nd hand BMW? the E60 520 or the E39? both are quite okay in my opinion although i prefer the E39....
cornyfish2000 SG I wouldn't go for second hand cars... Anyway $100K can probably get you only a 2004 520i (4 years old).Mark X is also nearing the end of its model run... This Mark X model has been 4 years old already (introduced in 2004). Buy now and there's a high chance that there'll be a new Mark model coming out next year.
BangHong SG MarkX will be coming a new model next year... confirm...2nd hand cars are not usually worth it, unless they are in good conditions.. I always fear parts that are spoilt are replaced, good looking, but later on spoilt. If without warrenty, worst..

Rynax SG Not restricting myself to anything. Just that these 2 have caught my eyes. I prefer executive cars though i welcome any suggestion. No rush in upgrading yet, waiting to see whats gonna happen as i read in some other threads abt COE prices expected to skyrocket.
nullifi3d SG How about the new Ford Mondeo? Rated one of the best 4 door saloon for the year. But i suggest you wait for the price to come down or @ least when they bring in the more popular 2.0L model.Among the same leageu i also recommend you the new Mazda 6, though the shape is really ugly.
gabrielhrteo SG Acutally 100k got quite a few cars to choose. Camry, MarkX, Ceifero, Accord. Maybe u can try the new 2008 accord. Since it's the largest accord up till production.

Rynax SG I'll continue looking around as i stated above I'm in no rush =) Will take a look at the new models of the Mazda 6 and ford. Might wait to see the new markX however with the current model already hitting 100k not sure if the new one will exceed my budget. The recent plunge in COE is quite tempting though...
onlooker123 SG Yah shop around. 100K budget - many options available.I thought for reliability should go for Japanese brands, esp. Toyota.Personally I would choose between the Accord and Camry. In the USA, the Camry was the 2007 car of the year.
