For all those who have asked me to make a list of SMRT routes
that should use DDs.
61 - 2 DDs from each side. Total 4 max
67 - bendies (2 bendies from each side once DTL
opens)
106 - 75% DD fleet
169 - 75% DD fleet
176- 50% DD fleet (move terminating point to Harbour front
center or LTA to take action on trees on Henderson road)
or 50% bendy fleet
180 - 50% DD fleet
184 - 100% DD fleet (branches / trees cannot be the reason why
DDs cannot ply - decision is upto LTA)
188 - 75% DD fleet
189 - 75% DD fleet
190 - 100% DD fleet
800/804/806/811/812 - combination of DD /
bendies can be used
851 - 25% DD fleet
852 - 2 DDs from each side. max 4 DD or bendy
854 - 100% DD fleet
855 - 2 DDs
856 - DD or bendy
857 - 2 DDs max
858M - full day service 3 DDs
900/901/903/911/912/913 - combination of DD / bendy / SD can be
used
960 - No bendy will be required once DTL opens. Till then bendy
operations
963 - 75% DD fleet
962/964 - combination of DD / bendy / SD can be used
969 - 100% DD or bendy
980 / 985 - max 2 DDs
If you check the other routes, they do not require bendy or DD.
So most of the worthy routes are covered by DDs :))
67 cannot have DD because of low trees near SCGH.
176 passes under the 4.2m high KTM bridge at Hillview.
