Let's be fair. If you are a business person who would you go
for? Do you dare to start a business of your own?
Since you are so smart, then why don't you write a letter to LTA
and SMRT board of committee to appoint me as CEO of SMRT??? If the
CEO and SMRT management are really that great in doing their
business, then why SMRT has landed in such a sorry state and the
irresponsible CEO being forced to resign? They don't even know the
basics of providing good service, taking good care of the manpower,
resources and fleets. Despite numerous complains and accidents,
they still heck care, operate the way that service standards are
compromised for making more money for their shareholders. They are
arrogant, irresponsible and selfish, do you think this is a success
for a business to survive? If not for the govt supporting them,
they would have wind down long ago. If they are keen on making
millions of profits annually, then go to do real estate, financial
services, oil drilling. Transport is a wrong industry for SMRT. At
least companies like SBST, KMB are more practical, down to earth
and focus. SMRT, just want to be the limelight all the time for
their "good" things and know how to satisfy their shareholders
only.
