Punggol will be 3 times its size now.
MRT lines: Downtown, Thomson ready by 2021.
It will be interesting to project the bus route needs with the
increasing commercial / residential development. There will
definitely be rationalization of bus services, introduction of new
services and modification of existing bus services like something
that happened when NEL opened.
Now, the additional buses purchased under BSEP does make
sense!!
