Thinking about it, one range of regos I can think of that isn't used is the SBS 4xxx series. What's up with it? Why isn't it used?

It is some of the KUBs registered in the 8xxx series and some Batch 1 wrights registered under 7xxx have the number ''4'' excluded when it appears in the 3rd or 4th digit.

Thanks for the information. Even though I'm chinese, I don't really pay attention to superstition and wasn't aware how it would be tied together with public transportation.

It won't be used in the future because of this superstition, right? Anyway SBS7444H now intrigues me for this one reason. Even then, why were they omitted only for these few ranges?

Now that the Citaros are filling up the current 61xx-62xx-63xx series, would future non-Citaro rigids fill up the 66xx-69xx series?

Because I find it's confusing when the 7xxx series consists of the VO2x-es, B9TL CDGEs, and the B9TL Wrights, and the 9xxx series consists of the LO3x-es, VO3x-es, Tridents and B10TLs.
