Some ZF wrights can speed too.

And the REAL glory flying is NOT the Leylands, BUT the DM3500s (Which sadly do not perm 168 anymore).

Citaros can fly oso... i always take 855 home from sch and driver always chiong at a certain portion.

my username rego is also famous for chionging but tends to over accelerate at the first few gears...

Leyland Olympian are the fastest bus in Singapore i've took (top speed). They are awesome at expressway. I remember taking SBS9171G on 161 with the standard charted ad, overtaking M'sia bus pekerja

I've took DM3500 full speed on 39 before in 2003, not bad ah, very noisy. But voith sucks at Expressway. MK4 Striders are better..

MK2s at E'way vibrates violently, i remember when it cameoed on 161. But very fast.

SMRT 0405 can go 90km/h

Bendies can reach 80km/h

Citaros, DM3500s and Leylands can ''fly''

SBST 0405 can reach top speed very fast, but have poor top speed and a little noisy, the only thing I like about it is the sound when de-celerating.

SMRT beats SBS only in effeciency I guess, simi taiji speed control???!!!

3) False. 198 was converted to FAC on April 2000.

4) SBS6968U. It was redeployed from 334 to 198 and subsequently 157 years before. This question is quite trickly as SBS7197X, with Yokohama Tires ad, was redeployed from 157 to 334 not long then.

5) 99 and 198

6) 30. 154 used O3O5s as NAC DD fleet for HGDEP side then and all NAC DDs on 198 were LAs then (only in 1997 did 198 started to use VO2X perms). 157 was fully LO2x for both JRBP and TPDEP for their NAC fleets.

7) True.

11) 2003. When it was amended to ply Chin Swee Road instead of New Bridge Road.

voith can go fast actually despite the poor acceleration from 1st to 3rd gear, and the only nice voiths belong to the citaros and dm3500s. and don't forget the weg2's voith(although wrights r slow). damn nice when speeding.

i prefer zf's nice sound, the habits zf totally rocks!!!
