Are they really going to make ALL outlets cashless? ? Hahaha - I
am constantly amazed at the levels of stupidity some people
display. Why would they think that is a good idea?
Imagine the meeting:
A: "I propose we make all our premises cashless! By doing so, we
alienate a large chunk of our existing and future customers, and we
will probably lose market share too! HOWEVER, we get to boast that
we are high tech and that we are very concerned about hygeine. I
believe that these will help us win more customers and make more
money than ever before."
BOSS: "What a BRILLIANT idea! I am concerned, however, that
Singaporeans might not be as understanding as you make them out to
be. So what I will do is give those people a 10% discount! We can
always increase the prices of our food anyway. Who will notice a
10/15c anyway? "
