What's new with SMRTB?
Even a good bus like the Mercedes Benz Citaro they can maintain
till this state. Saw SMB152 with a missing left rear bumper for
months before they finally want to fix it. Some Citaros even use
Dennis Lance and OC500LE rims for their rear rims.
MAN A22 no better. Took one before with jerky transmission and
the bus gave a hard jerk and died off before it proceeds in a
traffic junction. I don't know how many MAN buses are problematic
since I seldom take them.
Says so much about their maintainanace, outside and inside are
equally terrible.
as i said, mostly depends on SL attitude. if never report, will
never be fixed. i know of an SL who reports everything and even a
gearbox problem before she started her first trip and demanded a
change in the bus too.
