if this model can comply Euro V standard, cost less including
its lift cycle cost, is reliable and durable, provides fairly
comfortable travel, saves fuel, spare parts easy to obtain even in
future, then SBST should go for it. How about any
China double-deckers too?
Problem is they are not. Cheap doesn't mean they are safe,
realiable and durable. I don't find them comfortable and saving
fuel, in this case, using Cummis engine.
China bus manufacturers don't focus a lot on
double deckers, but more on bendy buses. Probably it is more
applicable to SMRTB.
