Service 86 fleet today from what i've observed..

SBS8229G, SBS8272B, SBS8276U, SBS8277S, SBS8286R, SBS8377L, SBS8739B, SBS3174M, SBS3176H, SBS9577U, SBS9644J

I'm sure there's more. SBS3174M and SBS3176H are replacing KUBs, not fleeT add.

SBS3176H appears on SBS9644J timeslot, SBS9644J appears on KUB's timeslot.

SBS3176H, SBS9577H and SBS9644J are back to back this morning..

SBS9006B cameo on 161, now the bus is deregistered..

SBS9186P on 136 in the morning, now replaced by Wrights

SBS2678H when perm on 27 before KUBs came in

TIB911D on 965, now full WLDEP, no more Dennis Lance cameo.

Wasting time for such meaningless things. Use the time to study more or hang out with friends.

No need to envy, because most people are better off without these bendy buses. I hope SMRT will convert to full single deckers fleet asap once all these bendy buses are retired in a few years time to provide a faster, more flexible and less jam prone bus services with full fleet single deck buses providing more flexible movements within bus stop lanes and bus interchanges and improve the frequencies with more single decker buses instead.

All this while, we've been taught that in land scarce Singapore, buildings need to go higher and higher to save space.

But SMRT, to increase capacity, instead of going higher, decided to go longer instead, taking up more road space and causing jams. SMRT should seriously consider getting double deckers to replace all their bendy buses once these bendy buses are due for retirement.
