I dont see why SMRT doesnt want to take this opportunity to move
away from bendies now.
Especially after all the problems we have seen over the years,
you would be thinking, now SMRT has a good chance to put it behind
them.
Of course LTA would not "ban" outright.
If they do that, they might as well subsume all the PTO and
nationalise them because explicit contractual requirements are more
time-consuming and expensive! The most they can do is prode them in
the right direction.
Like those wrist-slap paltry fines the PTO get whenever they
fail the public.
