But ppl are still complaining. One more service is better. Even my house got 4 services go to amk int. I won't mind another new service going to the int as well. The more the merrier. Shorter wait for bus n higher chance of getting seats

Service 50 from Bishan to Punggol via Ang Mo Kio Ave 8, YCK Road, Sengkang West/East Ave, Sengkang East Road. Full AMDEP control.

Service 68 from Tampines to Shenton Way via Bedok and Marina Bay Sands.

For Hougang to Serangoon, likely to use 11x series.

Seriously, Sengkang West anf Fernvale estate need a new trunk service to link to AMK and YCK MRT. Having a service 163/163M is not enough to cope with the growing population in Fernvale.

Bishan full already. you want move int like serangoon?

If 163 withdrawn, the link between Toa Payoh to Upp Thomson will be lost as well.

Not to mention Fernvale also, loss of link to YCK Road.

163's route is rather unique in certain ways, unlike 43/70/76 which runs parallel along Upp Paya Lebar.

The new parallel bus routes will be progressively introduced from the third quarter of 2012 to provide more options to commuters using stretches of the existing rail lines that experience persistent high ridership, while the ongoing rail enhancement measures are being implemented.
