it seems like there is some misconception on how shortworking
trips operate.
1. if the bus terminates at its terminating point, but starts
somewhere along the route, then a SWT number is not needed. in
short its known as downroute. There are many services that has
this. they include but not limited to services 2, 9A, 15, 21, 27,
28, 30, 31, 33, 45, 52, 53, 54, 55, 57, 60, 69, 70, 74, 80, 83, 87,
98, 99, 100, 131, 154, 161, 174, 190, 195A, 196, 228, 238, 240,
243, 960.
2. SWTs are designed to help a specific sector at a specific
timing. There has to be a group of commuters that the SWT is
catered for. It is usually at the expense of at least 1 full route
bus/trip for this SWT.
