109 3 DDs from HG and 1 from BN is more than enough.Weekdays off peak can use SDs.Only 2 run full day on weekends is good liao.

162 doesnt need DD as for now.The freq and fleets can handle that.If you count peak hours than most service need DDs.This is SG leh even 2 am got peoples late supper etc.What d ya expect a tiny country target 6.5m ppl?Even Johor Bahru 6x bigger only 3.8m.

Maybe you took on the wrong timing or wrong part of the route.

Can ANYONE tell me how does SBST decide to choose DD over SD for a route? How is loading calculated?

Many routes we feel need DDs don't really get them. I think if a trunk route has >60 pax in peak hours, it should be a DD otherwise the journey is really uncomfortable and cramped up. Does SBST also review its routes in the same way, and deploys DD?

SMRT is worst. MAN buses are a joke if SMRT choose to deploy them on high demand route like 190 and 960.

I agree. Even I have seen a huge increase in the patronage for 88. It was always full in peak hours, but a couple times I have taken it in non-peak hours, and the DD is fully seated and it is commendable, considering that others such as 14, 111 have only 15-20 pax in non peak hours.

Disagree. In fact, they became worse after taken over by SMRT.

Giving SBS northwest services to SMRT in fact is the worst decision made by LTA ever.
