Gee Thanks guys, for all the photos and stories, not to mention
the links.
Wow it sure brought back a lot of happy memories.
I was telling a friend about you guys (he's a bit older so not
so net savvy), we were talking about buses and I told him that
don't worry buses here are closely monitored by people like
yourself.
Some ppl may find your interests weird or whatever, but I think
it's super fun and more importantly people like yourself play an
important role for the community.
a) You will notice anything wrong about a bus
b) You know the practicality of routes
c) Your observations are an added eye on security of buses.
Keep it up the good work, I certainly hope some management in
SBS and SMRT come here and read about all the good stuff you guys
are posting daily.
My interest in buses has somewhat waned as I aged, but I still
keep an eye on buses and routes from time to time.
Finally, thanks to the posting about the 1 door bus, but there
was another model, a nit smaller, Mercedes i think. This bus had
only 1 windscreen and 3 wipers. I hated this bus, because when it
was crowded getting on or off was very tricky, people actually used
to hang onto the poles on the outside of the bus. Stunt bus was the
term people used!
