Well, the story went like this:-
1.Selected MK4 Striders from AR/BB were mass transferred to
HGDEP and BNDEP in exchange for the MK4 DM3500s. This took place in
2008 as well as 2011.
2. AR/BB services that have Striders affected by the depot swop
got the DM3500s perms for a short period of time.
3. At the same time BBDEP began to register most of their
DM3500s with the JB government in preperation for the mass
replacement of JB service 160/170 fleets.
4. When 160/170 were ready for the fleet replacement, mass
redeployments for MK3s and MK4 DM3500s took place. Services
that have newly JB registered DM3500s redeployed to 160/170 got the
former 160/170 JB MK3s in return.
5. Also at that time Citaros started to roll into SBST fleet and
BBDEP intake Citaros. Some services like 16 and 175 got Citaros
directly to replace their affected DM3500s. On the other hand, some
JB MK3s were directly laid up when 160/170 got their fleets
replaced.
6. As more MK3s in AR/BP (including the JB ones) were
deregistered, the new Citaros gradually replaced those services
with MK3s. Services like 92, 191 and 200 got indirect
replacements.
ok for ur brief explanation ! i think also AR/BB hv
more then enough CITAROs to take in to cover their rest of the svs
already! just look @ HG svs now like 85 103 112
159 325 372 (without perm kubs or citaros @ all) still
stuck with these old VOLVO bus campare to other depots svs
,look on the other side like BNDEP can give fair share of kubs and
citaros to each of their svcs like svcs 6 18 32 33 40 228
229 292 354 403 and lots more @ least every svcs hv a few
kubs or citaros to mix together with the old buses !
