SBS should really introduce 14.5m superlong buses with 3 doors.
Since SBS997A failed the trial because ppl complain that it is
difficult to alight, having a 3 door superlong bus would solve this
as ppl can also alight at the last door. Other than that, the
problem of ppl not moving to the back can also be solved as ppl
like to 'crowd' around the door area.
SBS997A failed not because of that. It falied because of its
difficulties of trying to frive in and out of bus bays.
SBS did considered before of converting all their single deckers
to 14.5 meters long buses but idea was shelved because of
this.
