I remembered HG feeders had Merc OF1417 (Hawke) and Volvo B57
(NZMB) before they were phased out in 1995.
The Mercedes Benz OF1417 doing Hougang feeders should be bodied by
NZMB. Seen a few serving the old 97 (Hougang South - Jurong East).
They also believe to do Jurong East feeders as well before the NAC
Mercedes Benz O405s came in. I'm not sure how many NZMB Mercedes
Benz OF1417 SBS acquired that time.
Mercedes Benz OF1417 Hawkes mainly do Ang Mo Kio feeders when
the Mercedes Benz OF1413 Soon Chow/Supreme Star were pharsed
out. I believed they also do the old Serangoon feeders, 217,
312, 315, 318, as well as Eunos feeders, 382 and 385 before Volvo
B10M MK 2s and after that Mercedes Benz O305 replaces
them.
3xxx ones were BBDEP-based while the 4xxx ones were from BNDEP. The
3xxx ones were retired first in 1995, and the 4xxx ones were used
to cover their duties briefly. BDK, TAM and PSR feeders went full
CRB fleet during 12/1995 but it wasn't until 3/1996 that Mk IIs
started appearing on CLE feeders.
I see. Thanks for the clarification.
